Mission and Goals
This website provides up-to-date information on research and extension efforts in the northeastern U.S. to manage the spotted-wing drosophila (SWD). We are a working group composed of researchers, extension specialists, fruit growers, and other stakeholders. We are sponsored by the Northeastern Integrated Pest Management Center. Due to the rapid publication of work investigating the biology, host range, chemical ecology, and management of SWD, it can be difficult to stay informed. Here, our goal is to manage a repository for the latest extension and research publications concerning SWD. This site also includes information for outreach and educational events concerning SWD and its management.
